Cast Steel Products (Civil Engineering and Architectural Applications, etc.)
Flexible support for everything from small-lot to mass production, with freedom in shape and wall thickness
Cast steel fittings are widely used to enable smooth stress transfer in structures and to realize designs with curved forms. Because cast steel fittings are often welded to other main steel-frame members, materials are selected primarily with weldability in mind. Materials that take fire resistance and weather resistance into consideration are also beginning to be used.
